Ryan St. Onge is the next in succession of great American aerial skiers, following in the footsteps of 1998 Olympic Gold Medalist, Eric Bergoust, and 2002 Olympic Silver Medalist, Joe Pack. After winning three (3) U.S. Championships over the past few years, Ryan brought his competition level to even higher heights in 2006 with two (2) World Cup victories, a win at the US Olympic trials, and a trip to Turino, Italy to compete at the Olympic Games. He finished the 2006 season as the USA’s top aerial skier and a #5 World Ranking following up on his 2005 finish at #6 in the World. And while he was a bit disappointed in his results at the Olympic Games, he is in good form to take his performance to an even higher level in 2007 and beyond, and has his sights focused on the 2007 World Championships and the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, B.C.

While Ryan is a great competitor, this All-American boy is also personality plus. He is a constant source of entertainment for his teammates and possesses a great sense of humor, which can come in handy during the grueling World Cup season. In 2006 after the Olympic Games, Ryan set a World record by successfully jumping into the World’s largest pool of “Slime” for Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Award show. Following that little stunt, Ryan assisted his dad in sailing across the Indian Ocean in a 65 foot sailboat. Upon his return to Park City, he hit the books this summer and is carrying a 4.0 GPA at Westminster College where he is studying business.

The sky is the limit for U.S. Olympian, Ryan St Onge.
